Finseta positions payments platform for maritime growth

Finseta Plc

Finseta is targeting yacht and fleet operators that need to manage money across multiple vessels, entities, currencies and jurisdictions. Its platform brings these functions into one system, giving customers a more direct way to control payments and spending.

Finseta points to a client operating a fleet of 12 superyachts as an example of the platform in use. The client needed better control over payments, fees and Advance Provisioning Allowance funds. Finseta introduced a centralised setup using multi-currency IBANs, expense management tools and reporting.

The platform allows customers to hold and manage several currencies through one account structure. It also supports multiple entities through a single login. This reduces the need to operate separate financial systems across different vessels or companies.

Finseta also supports mass payments and local payouts. These functions are aimed at businesses making regular payments to suppliers, crew and other parties in different countries.

Corporate cards are another part of the offering. The Finseta Mastercard is designed for captains and crew and can be used for operational expenses, provisioning and APA management. Cards are available in sterling, euros and US dollars and can be used at more than 150 million locations worldwide.

The platform includes real-time spending controls, giving fleet managers greater oversight of how funds are being used. Customers can also set their own approval processes, allowing payment and spending decisions to follow internal controls.

Finseta has built specialist reporting into the maritime service. Dedicated APA accounts can be funded by clients and used to track expenditure. This gives yacht managers a clearer view of spending and makes it easier to manage client funds within a defined structure.

Finseta Plc (LON:FIN), formerly Cornerstone FS PLC, is a United Kingdom-based foreignexchange and payments company offering multi-currency accounts and payment solutions to businesses and individuals through its global payments network.
