Equipmake turns existing fleets into electric assets

Equipmake

Repowering gives fleet operators a direct route to electrification without replacing entire vehicles. It addresses a clear commercial problem; many operators need to cut emissions, but also need to control capital spending, reduce downtime and keep proven assets on the road.

Equipmake converts existing diesel vehicles into electric vehicles using its own electrification technology. This approach can extend the working life of buses, trucks and specialist vehicles while removing tailpipe emissions from daily operations. It also gives customers a practical alternative to buying new electric vehicles, particularly where the existing vehicle body and chassis remain useful.

The company has already shown that repowering can work in real-world fleet conditions. More than 50 repowered vehicles using Equipmake technology have completed over 1.2 million miles across North America, South America, Asia and Europe.

Equipmake Holdings plc (AQSE:EQIP) delivers lightweight, high‑performance electric propulsion systems – designed, integrated, and rigorously tested to meet the exacting demands of next‑generation technology.
