Emerging market shares push higher as investors back growth again

Emerging-market shares have risen above their pre-conflict levels, helped by stronger Asian markets and renewed optimism around artificial intelligence. Technology exposure has been the main support, giving parts of the asset class a clearer growth angle and helping sentiment recover.

Emerging-market currencies have stayed weak as a stronger US dollar and renewed US-Iran tensions keep pressure on the macro backdrop. Even so, equity markets are holding up well.

Emerging markets are attracting investor interest again because parts of the sector still offer strong long-term growth exposure. Technology-linked markets, especially in Asia, are leading that move and helping the asset class regain momentum.

Fidelity Emerging Markets Limited (LON:FEML) is an investment trust that aims to achieve long-term capital growth from an actively managed portfolio made up primarily of securities and financial instruments providing exposure to emerging markets companies, both listed and unlisted.
