Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing star striker, Harry Kane, from Tottenham Hotspur. Kane has 18 months remaining on his current contract, and this summer could be Tottenham’s last opportunity to receive a suitably high fee for the forward. Kane is Tottenham’s all-time leading goalscorer and is considered a club legend.
Former Tottenham player and Manchester United legend, Dimitar Berbatov, has expressed his belief that Kane should stay with Tottenham instead of joining Manchester United. Berbatov believes that making a move to another Premier League team could tarnish the legacy Kane has built at Tottenham, as well as angering the fans. He also believes that a move a few years ago would have been more acceptable in terms of Kane’s legacy at Spurs, but now he does not think a move will materialise.
Kane’s future is uncertain, and it remains to be seen whether or not he will join Manchester United this summer.
