Device Authority targets enterprise IoT security demand through Xalient partnership

Tern plc

Device Authority has partnered with Xalient to strengthen IoT security for enterprise customers, with its KeyScaler platform being added to Xalient’s managed cybersecurity services.

The partnership is designed to help large organisations secure connected devices more effectively, particularly where IoT and operational technology assets are spread across complex environments. Device Authority is being positioned inside a managed enterprise security offering, giving it a clearer route to customers that need scalable device identity and access management.

Xalient provides identity-led cybersecurity and managed security services. By integrating Device Authority’s KeyScaler technology, it will be able to offer automated protection for connected devices across their full lifecycle. This includes device onboarding, credential management, certificate rotation, access control and decommissioning.

These are practical security functions for enterprises. As more organisations connect equipment, sensors, machines and operational systems, the number of devices that need to be identified, authenticated and managed continues to grow. Manual processes are difficult to scale and can increase risk. Automated device identity management helps reduce gaps in visibility and control.

The partnership focuses on sectors where secure connected infrastructure matters. Energy and utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and critical infrastructure often run large device networks where downtime, unauthorised access or weak credential management can create operational and compliance risks.

Tern plc (LON:TERN) backs exciting, high growth IoT innovators in Europe. They provide support and create a genuinely collaborative environment for talented, well-motivated teams.
