Device Authority partnership expands route into enterprise IoT security

Tern plc

Device Authority has strengthened its enterprise market positioning through a strategic partnership with Xalient, bringing its KeyScaler platform into a managed cybersecurity model focused on identity-led protection for IoT and OT environments.

Enterprises are continuing to expand connected device estates across operational settings, where unmanaged assets, long device lifecycles and fragmented security processes can increase exposure to cyber risk. As these environments become more complex, demand is shifting towards automated tools that can manage device identity, access and compliance at scale.

The partnership gives Xalient the ability to integrate Device Authority’s KeyScaler technology into its IoT security offering. This is intended to help enterprise customers protect connected devices across complex environments by automating key parts of the device identity lifecycle. These include secure onboarding, credential provisioning, certificate rotation, decommissioning and policy-driven access control.

The collaboration also reflects the growing importance of Zero Trust-aligned security models. Rather than relying on static perimeter defences, enterprises need ways to verify and manage users, devices, workloads and machine identities continuously. KeyScaler is designed for IoT and OT environments, where traditional IT security tools may not be sufficient and where automation can help reduce the burden on internal teams.

Tern plc (LON:TERN) backs exciting, high growth IoT innovators in Europe. They provide support and create a genuinely collaborative environment for talented, well-motivated teams.
