Device Authority has strengthened its enterprise positioning through a strategic partnership with Xalient, a provider of identity-led cybersecurity services and managed solutions. The collaboration will see Xalient integrate Device Authority’s KeyScaler platform into its IoT security offering, with the aim of helping enterprise customers protect connected devices across complex IT, IoT and operational technology environments.
This places Device Authority’s technology within a managed security model that is designed for large organisations facing rising operational, regulatory and cyber risk. As connected devices become more embedded in sectors such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and critical infrastructure, enterprises are under pressure to secure assets that are often distributed, long-lived and difficult to manage through traditional security tools.
The partnership addresses a practical challenge for customers: manual approaches to device identity, credential management and access control are increasingly difficult to scale. In large deployments, unmanaged or poorly governed devices can create visibility gaps, compliance issues and operational exposure. Device Authority’s KeyScaler platform is designed to automate identity lifecycle management for IoT and OT devices, from secure onboarding and credential provisioning through to certificate rotation, decommissioning and policy-driven access control.
Xalient’s role adds an important route-to-market dimension. By delivering the joint capability through its managed “as-a-service” security model, Xalient can support customers that want to improve IoT and OT security without adding complexity to internal teams.
