CyanConnode embedded in India’s grid transition

CyanConnode

India’s goal to install 250 million smart meters by 2026 is now fully underway, with central government support and state-level contracts translating into faster execution on the ground. Installation rates have jumped from 11,000 per day to over 80,000, with targets pointing higher.

CyanConnode is one of the few companies already embedded in that layer. Through its India-based subsidiary and local partnerships, it is delivering narrowband RF mesh networks designed specifically for utility communication. It is the core infrastructure that ensures every meter transmits data consistently, even in remote or complex geographies.

The company’s Omnimesh platform, built on IPv6, is already in use across Indian utility deployments. It is integrated with Tier-1 meter manufacturers and contracted to deliver connectivity to hundreds of thousands of endpoints. With India’s rollout now expanding, that installed base is expected to grow substantially.

CyanConnode Holdings plc (LON:CYAN) is a world leader in the design and development of Narrowband RF mesh networks that enable Omni Internet of Things (IoT) communications.
