Corero Network Security has strengthened its position in the global DDoS protection market after being named a Star for the second consecutive year in the latest MarketsandMarkets assessment.
The company has moved further within the Star category, which recognises leading vendors based on product capabilities, market presence and business strategy.
The latest assessment highlights Corero’s SmartWall ONE and CORE platforms, which provide protection against distributed denial-of-service attacks across network and application layers.
SmartWall ONE provides real-time detection and automated mitigation of DDoS attacks, including attacks using encrypted HTTPS and TLS traffic. CORE adds traffic analysis, application security and Zero Trust access controls.
Corero has continued to expand the capabilities of its platform during the past year. SmartWall ONE 15.0 includes intelligent TLS inspection and mitigation orchestration, while the company has also introduced AI-supported cloud assistance.
The business has expanded its partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Southeast Asia. It also works with major technology companies including Akamai and HPE Juniper Networking.
Corero’s technology can be deployed through hardware, software, virtual, SaaS and cloud-native environments, giving customers different options depending on their network requirements.
The company is also targeting service providers and managed security service providers, allowing them to offer DDoS protection as part of their own services.
