Corero Network Security plc secures several customer orders worth $1.2 million

Corero Network Security plc (LON:CNS), the global network security company, has today announced a $0.3 million order for its SmartWall® Threat Defense (“SmartWall”) technology with a a cloud-based web development customer, a $0.2 million order for its SmartWall technology with a digital enterprise customer, a $0.2 million follow-on order with a UK government customer and a $0.5 million customer support renewal.

These wins include a customer order which, as reported in the Trading Update dated 21 December 2017, was delayed to 2018, and a significant customer renewal. Key highlights include:

· $0.3 million order for the initial data centre deployments with a global cloud-based web development company. The order includes multiple SmartWall products and supporting SecureWatch services for three years. It is anticipated that further material orders will follow later in 2018 and in 2019 as Corero’s SmartWall technology is deployed in the customer’s other worldwide locations.

· $0.2 million for the on-going world-wide implementation of SmartWall Distributed Denial of Service (‘DDoS’) mitigation, protecting the core communication and IT infrastructure for a large digital enterprise. Corero secured the initial order in Q3 2017. The order includes multiple SmartWall products with supporting SecureWatch services for one year. Further material orders are expected in 2018 as Corero’s SmartWall technology is deployed in additional locations.

· $0.2 million for the significant expansion of DDoS mitigation capacity for an existing governmental customer in the UK. The order includes multiple SmartWall products with supporting SecureWatch services for one year.

· $0.5 million one-year SecureWatch services renewal for a top 10 US cloud hosting provider.
