Cerillion adds Agent2Agent AI capabilities to strengthen telecoms automation offering

Cerillion

Cerillion has launched version 26.1 of its BSS/OSS software suite, adding Agent2Agent capabilities that allow AI agents to work together across Cerillion and third-party systems.

The update is designed to help telecoms operators automate more complex operational tasks with less manual input. Cerillion is embedding AI automation into its standard software suite, which may strengthen the product’s relevance as operators look to modernise systems, reduce cost and improve service speed.

The new release builds on Cerillion’s existing AI agent and Model Context Protocol work. Its Agent2Agent functionality allows different AI agents to exchange information, understand context and coordinate actions across workflows. This could make the platform more useful in large operational environments where customer, billing, service and network processes often depend on several systems working together.

Cerillion is also using its Open API architecture and Progressive Discovery framework to help agents find and use the right data as tasks develop. Integration remains a major challenge for telecoms operators. A more standardised approach to AI-driven automation may reduce implementation risk and make Cerillion’s platform easier to scale across different customer needs.

Cerillion plc (LON:CER) is a leading provider of billing, charging and customer management systems with more than 20 years’ experience delivering its solutions across a broad range of industries including the telecommunications, finance, utilities and transportation sectors.
