Actual Experience plc Successful Evaluation of uCPE Deployment Capability with Vodafone Group

Actual Experience plc

Actual Experience plc (LON: ACT), the analytics-as-a-service company, has today announced that its digital user software has been successfully evaluated by Vodafone Group (LON: VOD), one of its existing Channel Partners, to assess deployment capability on Universal Customer Premises Equipment (uCPE). This equipment is typically deployed to customer sites by a service provider. This is a landmark development for Actual Experience, representing the successful achievement of a key strategic milestone.

Actual Experience’s digital quality analytics could now be easily and quickly deployed on next generation uCPE, such as Vodafone. A uCPE is a remotely manageable gateway server to be deployed by a service provider at customer site so as to enable the delivery of a variety of services. The evaluation has established that, if an enterprise has a uCPE device installed at a site and chooses to utilise the analytics service from Actual Experience, the device will be capable of running the Digital User. It is anticipated this will both significantly reduce the sales cycle for customer engagement and increase the speed of deployments.

Dave Page, CEO of Actual Experience plc, commented:

“Last year we achieved a major commercial milestone with our first large customer production deployments. The focus this year is on securing further deployments while also working towards the final phase of our partner strategy: that is, where our analytics are automatically built into our channel partners’ software or hardware. I am therefore delighted to be able to announce Actual Experience’s success in Vodafone’s evaluation of the deployment capability of our digital user software onto their uCPE devices. This underlines the value our Channel Partners perceive in our digital quality analytics. For us, this represents the first publicly announced step towards being built into all customer deployments for a partner.”
