Abode has launched Linaro, a new granite sink collection designed to extend its offer in the premium kitchen market.
The range uses SioForm+, Abode’s new granite composite material. It has a smooth, ultra-matt finish and avoids the flecked appearance often associated with granite sinks. The cleaner surface gives the collection a more modern look and allows Abode to target customers seeking simple, coordinated kitchen designs.
Linaro is available in single-bowl and 1.5-bowl formats. The 1.5-bowl model uses a slim divider to create a larger main bowl within a standard cabinet size. The main bowl measures 37cm across, providing more space for washing large pans, trays and other cookware.
The overflow is located in the smaller bowl. This allows the main bowl to hold more water without requiring a deeper sink. The design increases usable capacity while keeping the product suitable for standard kitchen installations.
The collection can be installed either inset or undermounted. This gives kitchen designers and retailers more flexibility across different worktop materials, layouts and price points. The single-bowl model is available in sizes for 50cm, 60cm and 80cm cabinets, while the 1.5-bowl version fits a 60cm cabinet.
Abode has also introduced a tapledge option. This allows the tap to be fitted directly to the sink rather than the worktop. It is intended for kitchens where space behind the sink is limited, but it also supports a more integrated installation. The tapledge can accommodate additional fittings such as a filter control, hand spray or soap dispenser.
Linaro is initially available in Pure Black, Pure White and Slate Grey. A Taupe Granite finish is planned for later in the year.
