Verici Dx adds senior transplant experts to support clinical development

Verici Dx Plc

Verici Dx has appointed 14 new members to its Scientific Advisory Board, increasing the clinical and scientific expertise supporting its transplant diagnostics programme.

The expanded board now includes specialists in nephrology, transplant surgery, pathology, immunology, clinical research and biostatistics. Their role will be to advise on scientific strategy, clinical development and the practical use of Verici Dx’s diagnostic products.

Lorenzo Gallon, MD, remains Chair of the board. He is Professor of Medicine and Surgery and Director of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Program at the University of Illinois School of Medicine.

The new members are Prince Mohan Anand, Oriol Bestard, Antony Chang, Aravind Cherukuri, Paolo Cravedi, Zahraa Hajjiri, Roslyn B. Mannon, Maarten Naesens, Rainer Oberbauer, Jesse Schold, Neeraj Singh, Flavio G. Vincenti, Alex Wiseman and Henry Randall.

They join existing advisers Madhav C. Menon, Philip O’Connell, Emilio Poggio and Weija Zhang.

The appointments give Verici Dx access to a broader group of clinicians and researchers working directly in transplant medicine.

The board can help Verici Dx assess study design, clinical priorities and the evidence needed to support adoption. It can also provide practical feedback on how transplant teams make decisions and where diagnostic tools may improve patient management.

Verici Dx’s lead product, Tutivia, is a post-kidney transplant test designed to support the early detection of acute rejection. The company uses multiomic analysis and proprietary artificial intelligence to develop tests intended to help clinicians assess risk and guide treatment decisions.

Verici Dx Plc (LON:VRCI) is developing a complementary suite of proprietary, leading-edge tests forming a kidney transplant diagnostics platform for personalised patient and organ response risk to assist clinicians in medical management for improved patient outcomes.
