Touchstone Exploration President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Baay has been confirmed as a speaker at the Venezuela International Oil & Gas Summit, placing the company’s leadership within a senior-level industry gathering focused on the future development of Venezuela’s oil and gas sector.
The Venezuela International Oil & Gas Summit is scheduled to take place in Caracas from 28 to 30 September 2026. The event is expected to bring together more than 125 expert speakers, over 450 senior-level delegates and representatives from more than 30 countries, alongside government representatives, international and national oil companies, service providers, contractors, policymakers and capital providers.
Baay’s participation comes as the summit focuses on the commercial and operational considerations surrounding Venezuela’s renewed energy development. Key areas of discussion are expected to include upstream recovery, investment frameworks, infrastructure requirements, gas monetisation, LNG opportunities, operational delivery and cross-border collaboration.
For Touchstone, participation at senior executive level provides exposure to discussions around how energy companies assess emerging opportunities while managing regulatory, compliance, infrastructure and execution risks. The summit is designed in part to examine the practical conditions required for companies and capital to engage with a complex energy market, making the timing relevant as industry participants consider how future development could progress.
