Jan Witte, CEO of Record plc commented:
“A strong start to the year saw positive net flows across all three product pillars during the quarter. Growth in Risk Management was driven by Passive Hedging, while Absolute Return benefited from new FX Alpha mandates. Private Markets continued to attract inflows from Solutions for Asset Managers alongside ongoing deployment activity for the Record Infrastructure Equity Fund. Positive underlying asset growth and market movements were partially offset by the impact of foreign exchange movements.
At quarter end, the Group also had undeployed commitments of $1.2 billion (31 March 2026: $1.1 billion) and assets under advisory2 of $0.4 billion (31 March 2026: $0.4 billion) within Private Markets, which, while not included within AUM, reflects the expanded breadth of activity across the Group and the different contributions to future revenue generation.
Performance across the Group continues to support expectations for the current financial year.”
1 With effect from today, the Group is making a change to the format of its quarterly updates driven by the continued evolution of the business. AUM composition and movements will be presented at the product pillar level. The Q2 and Q4 updates, which are released ahead of the interim and full year results, respectively, will also contain a trading statement and a performance fee update.
2 Assets under advisory represent client assets for which the group earns recurring fees but is not the appointed investment manager.
