Primary Health Properties Board changes

Primary Health Properties

Primary Health Properties PLC (LON: PHP), a leading investor in modern primary healthcare facilities announced today that, following the successful merger and integration of MedicX Fund Ltd with PHP, Helen Mahy CBE, Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director has informed the Board that she does not intend to stand for re-election at the Company’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 2020 and will accordingly retire from the Board at that time.

The PHP Nomination Committee therefore will shortly commence a process to identify a suitable replacement for Ms Mahy as an independent Non Executive Director and the Company will make a further announcement in due course.

Steven Owen, Primary Health Properties Chairman, commented:

“On behalf of the Board, I wish to thank Helen for her role in the success of the merger with MedicX, in helping oversee the integration of the two businesses and for the perspective she has brought to the Board’s deliberations. We wish Helen every success in the future.”

Helen Mahy CBE, Deputy Chairman commented:

“It has been a privilege to serve on the PHP Board. However, I feel that, following the successful integration of the two businesses, it is appropriate that I stand down at the forthcoming AGM. I feel confident that the enlarged business has an exciting future.”
