Likewise Group shortlisted for two AIM awards

Likewise Group has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 AIM Awards, adding further recognition as the flooring distributor continues to expand its operational footprint and pursue its longer-term growth strategy.

The company has been nominated for both the AIM Growth Business of the Year Award and the AIM Transaction of the Year Award.

Likewise was launched in 2018 by Tony Brewer and Andrew Simpson, working with Birmingham investor Paul Bassi, and joined the Alternative Investment Market in 2021. Since then, the company has expanded through a combination of organic development and acquisitions. Earlier additions included Valley Wholesale Carpets (2004) Ltd in January 2022 and Delta Carpets (Holdings) Ltd in April 2022.

Recent trading figures provide further context for the company’s expansion plans. By 20 July 2026, year-to-date total revenue had increased by 17.8% on a like-for-like basis. Revenue for the first half of 2026 rose by 16.3% to £91.1 million, compared with £78.3 million in the first half of 2025. Gross margin also improved by 0.7 percentage points to 32.1%.

The two AIM Awards nominations reflect the scale of the company’s recent growth and transaction activity.

Likewise Group PLC (LON:LIKE) is a distributor of floorcoverings and matting and has the opportunity to consolidate the domestic and commercial floorcovering markets to become one of the UK’s largest distributors in this sector.
