Ilika to present solid-state battery progress at major UK energy storage conference

Ilika will present its Goliath battery technology at the Faraday Institution Conference 2026 in Nottingham.

Matt Stock, Ilika’s Goliath Technical Director, is scheduled to speak on 8 September at 14:40. His presentation, titled “Safe and High-Performance Quasi-Solid State Cells Developed in the UK”, will focus on progress with the company’s UK-developed quasi-solid-state cell technology.

Ilika is placing its technology in front of a specialist battery audience at a conference focused on the next frontiers in energy storage. The event runs from 8 to 10 September 2026 and is expected to bring together researchers, industry participants and stakeholders involved in battery innovation.

Ilika’s Goliath programme is aimed at larger-format solid-state batteries, and investor attention will remain focused on whether the company can keep showing progress in areas that matter to future customers and partners.
