Hercules plc has reported its involvement in a community project at the For All Healthy Living Centre, where its team helped make the children’s play area safer, cleaner and more welcoming.
The work included removing old canopy poles, repairing a shed roof, jet washing and painting. The company said the priority was to ensure children could use the space without safety concerns.
The initiative was coordinated with support from Octavius Infrastructure. Hercules thanked Paris Linkins and Tegan Gould for helping organise the work on behalf of Octavius, and also recognised Rail Operations Manager Rashid Holmes and Social Value Lead Miquel Brown for leading the project on the ground.
Clients and partners increasingly look for evidence that suppliers can work responsibly, support communities and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Hercules’ role in this project gives a simple example of that in practice.
The company also attended the Octavius “Leaving a Legacy” celebration, where Miquel Brown joined others to recognise the work completed over recent months. The event marked the contribution of the teams involved and reinforced the value of collaboration between Hercules, Octavius and local stakeholders.
