CMC Markets plc (LON:CMCX), a FTSE 250 company and global multi-asset financial services firm, has announced that Lord Peter Cruddas, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has today purchased 23,011 ordinary shares in the Company for an aggregate consideration of approximately £139,000.
Lord Cruddas has also informed the Board that he currently intends to purchase further Ordinary Shares at market with an aggregate value of up to £5 million including the purchase announced today.
Commenting on the purchase, Lord Peter Cruddas, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, CMC Markets, said: “As founder and long-term CEO, I am adding more shares to my investment in the company. Since our IPO in 2016, I have never sold any of my shares in CMC Markets and I intend to make further investments in the near term.”
Any such purchases would be undertaken for Lord Cruddas’ own account and represent his personal investment decision.
The purchases will be subject at all times to applicable legal and regulatory requirements, receiving appropriate dealing clearances under the Company’s share dealing code and prevailing market conditions.
