Graham joined ITM Power as CEO in 2009. Before that Graham was Business Development Manager in National Power plc and spent 11 years in the power industry developing energy storage and generation technologies.
Before joining ITM Power Graham was CEO of Sensortec Ltd, founding CEO of Metalysis Ltd, a spin out of Cambridge University and foundingCEO of Antenova Ltd.
ITM cover a number of technologies in the production of clean energy. Power to Gas – Injection of hydrogen produced by electrolysis into the gas grid is a way of storing energy from the electricity grid by exporting it to the gas grid. Electrolyser Stacks – An electrolyser is a device which splits water into hydrogen and oxygen using electrical energy. Hydrogen Energy Systems – Hydrogen can be used to generate electricity via a fuel cell or a modified petrol generator. Hydrogen Storage and Dispensing – Hydrogen storage is a core requirement for refuelling vehicles and for compact energy storage. Fuel Cell Technology – Fuel cells use hydrogen to generate electricity.
