Ed Winter CEO of Fastjet plc LON:FJET has over 40 years of airline experience spanning from the traditional full service model of BOAC/British Airways through to one of the most successful low cost airlines, easyJet LON:EZJ

 

Ed started his aviation career as a pilot with BOAC. He held a number of senior management positions within British Airways including Chief Pilot and Head of Operations BA Regional, Chief Pilot London Gatwick and Chief Pilot Long haul Aircraft. He was a founder director and Chief Operating Officer of low cost airline Go, and grew the airline profitably to 28 aircraft.

Through industry partnerships, the Company also offers a range of services including car rentals, hotels, and car parking in the African market. It offers traders from its international destinations to transport goods home by fastjet aircraft as opposed to road, and Smartclass through Freighty. fastjet allows passengers to book seats through Expedia, Skyscanner and a range of on-line travel agents and consolidators.
