Zeus Capital has been recognised for its excellent year of transactions, claiming a pair of awards at this year’s Rainmaker Awards, in association with TheBusinessDesk.com.
The independent investment bank took home the award in the prestigious Corporate Finance Team of the Year category, while its deal making success was also rewarded for the advice provided on the £200 million acquisition of Matthew Clark by Conviviality in October 2015.
Collecting the awards, Tremayne Ducker, head of Corporate Finance at Zeus Capital, said:
“As a region, we’ve enjoyed significant success in the last few years advising on public transactions. It shows that Manchester can be a leading centre on the national stage for public market activity as well as private equity transactions.”
“This first part of the year’s been very good. We’ve been involved in raising close to £400 million on public market transactions, which is quite a way ahead of our competitors in terms of the AIM market so far this year, so fingers crossed this will continue.”
The awards follow a strong start to 2016 for the firm, which has completed high profile AIM IPOs for Accrol Papers, Watkin Jones and Draper Esprit, as well as offering both buy and sell-side advice on NorthEdge Capital’s investment in Neighbourhood and Victor’s last month.
